Advanced Modern Chinese Acupuncture Therapy has two parts. Part One introduces a basic knowledge of Acupuncture 針灸, including Jingluo 經絡 (meridians and collaterals), standard locations, properties, actions, point indications and acupuncture methods. It also includes specific points and clinical applications, treatment principles and insertion. It comprehensively detailed the arts of acupuncture and its techniques. Part two discusses in detail 105 common clinical diseases and morbid conditions which respond well to the application of acupuncture. Each disease is described in western medical terms and are differentiated with the Chinese theory of syndromes. Treatments are divided into standard treatment and experiential treatment, in which many easy and effective methods are described. Indexes of the book is also in Chinese Pinyin, covers symptoms and diseases known to western medical science, and diseases known to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in both Pinyin and characters.
